Vela Lounge Configurator
Custom Shopify UI for a 3D lounge-chair configurator: orbit and zoom, named color and frame pickers, Trustpilot proof, and a save-design link that reconstitutes the finish.
The problem
A stock Shopify product page cannot host a prepared 3D asset. Color lives in variant pills, zoom is a static image, and there is no way to save a finish or show Trustpilot next to the model.
What I designed
Designed a custom PDP around the object: a studio viewport with orbit and zoom, upholstery and frame pickers that rewrite price and SKU, Trustpilot proof on the buy rail, and a shareable saved-design URL.
The outcome
A live case covering the exact job surfaces — custom UI, 3D controls, color, save design, and Trustpilot — without a Dawn theme wrapper.
